On July 9th, after listening to a speaker discuss the serious implications of cell phones and driving, we awarded our 2nd Quarter Jelee awards. It took some time to get the company meeting livened up again, but Chris and Kristyl managed to do it! They presented the awards to: Amy Allbaugh for Teamwork and Marika Birkby for Customer Service. Amy supports the entire team in her role as executive assistant, somehow managing to keep us all happy! Marika recently had two happy clients come back for new projects, and sing her project management praises!
Amy and Marika received a ½ day off, a $50 gift certificate, and an engraved cubic placard. In addition, each received a surprise gift! (These are probably as much fun for the crowd as they are for the recipients!) Amy’s surprise was 2 kettle chip kits and Marika’s was a horse racing game. Each winner received a Japanese puzzle with instructions actually written in Japanese– we have yet to see them solve the puzzles – wonder why?!
It was announced that the Jelee program is being enhanced to encourage nominations! Each time a teammember makes a nomination, their name will be entered into the nominator’s lotto. One name will be pulled from the lotto, and the winner will receive a gift along with the Jelee award winners!
